π SHEIN Order Tracking
Track your SHEIN packages & deliveries worldwide with real-time updates
π Important: How to Find Your SHEIN Tracking Number
- Check your shipping confirmation email - This is sent after your SHEIN order ships and contains the carrier tracking number (not your SHEIN order number)
- Look for these carrier formats: USPS (22 digits), UPS Mail Innovations, SpeedX, UniUni, Yodel, or a DHL/FedEx reference on express orders
- The short #order reference in your account is internal to SHEIN and resolves nowhere. The carrier number arrives with the shipping email
- If you can't find the tracking number: Log into your SHEIN account at shein.com > "My Account" > "My Orders" to view order details and tracking information
- Ordering and dispatch are separate events. A number appears once the parcel physically leaves, not when you pay
Note: SHEIN does not operate its own delivery service. All SHEIN packages are shipped through third-party carriers (USPS, SpeedX, UniUni, Yodel, Royal Mail, DHL, FedEx, etc.) from SHEIN's fulfillment centers. Tracking works through these carriers' systems.

About SHEIN Order Tracking Service
SHEIN is a global fashion and lifestyle e-retailer that offers trendy and affordable clothing, accessories, beauty products, and home goods to customers in over 220 countries and regions. Founded in 2008, SHEIN has grown to become one of the world's largest fashion retailers with over 150 million active customers worldwide, known for its rapid product development cycle and direct-to-consumer business model.
SHEIN runs no delivery fleet of its own, so every parcel is handed to a partner carrier and tracked in that carrier's system. Which partner you get depends on your country and on whether the item shipped from a local warehouse or from China. We identify the carrier from the reference and pull their data, using the number in your shipping confirmation emails. SHEIN partners with carriers including USPS and SpeedX in the US, UniUni in Canada, Yodel or Royal Mail in the UK, and DHL, FedEx or Aramex on express routes, depending on your location and shipping method selected.
Paste the carrier reference above and we identify which delivery partner holds your parcel, then pull their scan data. That identification step matters more with SHEIN than with most retailers, because the carrier differs by country and by which warehouse filled the order, and checkout never tells you which. SHEIN also offers the SHEIN app for iOS and Android with push notifications for order updates and delivery estimates.
Quick SHEIN Tracking Guide (30 Seconds)
How to Track a SHEIN Order in 3 Steps:
- Find your carrier tracking number - Check your shipping confirmation email (subject: "Your SHEIN order has been shipped"). This is not your SHEIN order number starting with #. In the US that is usually a 22-digit USPS number or a SpeedX reference, in Canada UniUni, in the UK Yodel or Royal Mail, and on express orders DHL or FedEx.
- Paste the carrier number above - the short #order reference will not work; it is internal to SHEIN.
- View real-time updates - See current location, customs status, estimated delivery, and full scan history from China to your door.
Tip: If tracking shows "Information Received" for more than 7 days, the package is still being processed in China - this is normal for SHEIN standard shipping. Wait 7-10 days before contacting customer service.
SHEIN Order Process & Timeline
The gap between paying and seeing a tracking number catches people out, and so does the gap between dispatch and the first meaningful scan. Here is what happens at each stage and when a reference actually appears:
Order Placed
Payment produces an order confirmation straight away, but no tracking reference β that comes at dispatch, typically a day or two later and longer through sale periods. Items drawn from different warehouses may be consolidated into one parcel or split across several, which is why one order can generate more than one reference.
Order Picked & Packaged
Your items are selected from SHEIN's global network of warehouses in China (Guangzhou, Shenzhen) and regional fulfillment centers. Items are carefully packaged in SHEIN-branded poly mailers or cardboard boxes with protective materials. Quality inspection ensures items match your order and meet SHEIN's quality standards before shipping.
Order Shipped
Dispatch is the moment a carrier reference exists, and it arrives in the shipping email and under My Orders. Which carrier you get turns on your country and on whether the item came from a local warehouse or from China. A single order can split across both routes and land as separate parcels days apart.
China Processing
China-origin parcels spend several days in sorting and export clearance before the first meaningful scan, typically moving out through Guangzhou or Shenzhen. Tracking often shows nothing past "information received" for that stretch. It drives more "my parcel is stuck" worry than anything else and almost never signals a problem. Local-warehouse orders skip this stage completely.
International Transit
Air freight does not scan at every waypoint, so a standard parcel may post only a handful of events across the entire crossing. Sparse is the norm here, not a warning sign. Express routes scan more often and still meet the same customs step on arrival.
Customs & Delivery
Your package arrives in your country and undergoes customs clearance. This process can take 1-5 business days depending on your country's customs procedures. After clearance, local postal services (USPS, Royal Mail, Canada Post, etc.) handle final delivery. The first return from each order is free within the 30-day window, with return shipping costs covered by SHEIN for orders over $49.
SHEIN Delivery Options
Standard Shipping: Free on orders over $49 (varies by country), typically 7-10 business days. Most economical option, running on USPS, SpeedX or a national postal service depending on your market. Tracking includes basic updates throughout the journey. Best for non-urgent orders and customers willing to wait for significant cost savings.
Express Shipping: Additional cost (typically $12.90-$19.90 depending on country and package weight), typically 3-7 business days. Includes full tracking throughout the journey with regular scan updates. Carriers include DHL Express, UPS Express, and FedEx International Priority. Provides proof of delivery and better customer service for lost packages. Perfect for urgent orders or high-value items.
Economy Shipping: the cheapest tier and the slowest to scan. It moves on consolidated freight, so expect long gaps between events rather than a steady trail, and a handover to a local postal operator for the final mile. Fine for non-urgent orders; frustrating if you plan to watch it.
SHEIN Club: SHEIN's loyalty program offering benefits like free express shipping on all orders, exclusive discounts, early access to sales, and birthday rewards. Membership is free and available to all customers after their first purchase. SHEIN Club members receive priority customer service and exclusive product drops.
SHEIN Plus: SHEIN's premium membership program ($9.99/month or $69.99/year) offering unlimited free express shipping, additional discounts, dedicated customer service, and exclusive member-only products. SHEIN Plus members can return items without paying return shipping costs and receive faster processing for returns and replacements.
Consolidated shipping: where checkout offers it, combining orders gives you one parcel, one customs entry and one set of scans to follow rather than several moving at different speeds. It also avoids a separate duty assessment on each parcel. Look for the green leaf icon during checkout for the most sustainable shipping choices.
International Shipping & Tracking
Delivery time, cost and customs treatment all vary by destination, and so does the carrier that finishes the job. The table below gives the realistic ranges; the carrier column matters most, because that is the company you will deal with if a delivery fails.
| Region | Standard Delivery | Economy Delivery | Express Delivery | Common Carriers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| North America | 7-10 days | 12-20 days | 3-7 days | USPS, SpeedX, UniUni |

| Australia & NZ | 8-12 days | 14-25 days | 4-8 days | Australia Post, local couriers |
| South America | 10-15 days | 18-30 days | 5-10 days | Correios, local posts |

Customs Clearance for International SHEIN Orders
Customs paperwork is generated automatically and travels with the parcel. The commercial invoice attached to it declares:
- Complete item descriptions (not "clothing" but "women's cotton dress")
- Individual item values in USD (often undervalued to minimize duties)
- Harmonized System (HS) codes for each product category
- Weight, quantity, and country of origin for each item
- SHEIN's importer of record information for your country
Clearance happens on arrival and produces its own quiet stretch, because customs authorities do not scan a parcel while assessing it. Statuses such as "presented to customs" or "clearance in progress" mark the start and nothing further appears until release. Some countries (like Brazil, India, and Russia) have particularly strict customs procedures that can significantly delay deliveries.
Duties and taxes depend on destination and order value, and the American picture has changed completely: the $800 duty-free allowance is gone, so a US shopper can be assessed on an order of any size. The EU has changed too: its β¬150 duty-free threshold was abolished on 1 July 2026 and replaced by a flat β¬3 customs duty per item category, charged to the seller rather than collected at your door. The UK still applies its Β£135 threshold. VAT is due below all of these regardless. Checkout may show an estimate; the customs authority sets the real figure, and the carrier usually collects before releasing the parcel. If your package is held for customs payment, you'll typically receive notification via email or SMS from the local postal service.
SHEIN Tracking Troubleshooting Guide
The Order Number Is Not the Tracking Number
This single confusion accounts for more failed lookups than everything else combined. Your SHEIN order number is a short internal reference used inside your account. It is not a carrier reference and it will never resolve in a tracking tool, ours included.
The carrier tracking number comes later, in the shipping confirmation email and under My Orders once the parcel is dispatched. That is the one to paste above. If the only number you have is the short order reference, the parcel has not left the warehouse yet.
Which Warehouse Your Order Ships From Changes Everything
SHEIN runs two fulfilment models in parallel, and knowing which one applies to your order explains most of what tracking shows.
| Route | Typical transit | What tracking looks like |
|---|---|---|
| RouteUS warehouse stock | Typical transit2 to 5 days | What tracking looks likeBehaves like any domestic parcel. A US carrier, frequent scans, no customs step at all |
| RouteDirect from China, standard | Typical transit7 to 14 business days after dispatch | What tracking looks likeSparse scans, a long quiet stretch in transit, then a customs entry |
| RouteDirect from China, express | Typical transitFaster, still customs-bound | What tracking looks likeMore scans, but the customs step still applies |
Nothing at checkout tells you which route your items take, and a single order can split across both. That is why two orders placed the same day can arrive a week apart.
Who Delivers a SHEIN Parcel
SHEIN does not run its own delivery fleet, and the carrier varies by market rather than by service level. In the United States most parcels finish with USPS, with regional operators such as SpeedX and UniUni handling a growing share. Canada runs mostly on UniUni. The United Kingdom is Yodel or Royal Mail. Express orders route through DHL, FedEx or Aramex.
The practical consequence: once a parcel reaches your country, the delivering carrier's own tracking is more detailed than SHEIN's. A failed delivery, a redelivery request or a missing parcel is that carrier's to resolve, not SHEIN's. Paste the number above and we identify the carrier for you rather than making you guess.
The Customs Gap Is Normal, and Longer Than It Used to Be
A parcel that sits at customs with no movement for several days has not vanished. Customs does not generate tracking scans while it processes a shipment, so the silence is the process working, not failing.
What changed is the length. Duty-free entry under $800 stopped applying to Chinese and Hong Kong origin in May 2025, extended worldwide that August, and became permanent regulation in 2026. Every SHEIN parcel entering the US now needs a customs entry regardless of value, which adds a day or two on a clean shipment and much longer on anything flagged. It is also why a low-value order can arrive with a duty bill attached.
Our SHEIN shipping and tracking guide works through the duty thresholds by country, and the US import duties guide covers how the charge is calculated.
Common Tracking Problems, and What Each One Means
"No information found" for your number. Almost always the order number rather than the carrier reference. Check the shipping confirmation email.
Stuck on "information received" for days. The label exists and the parcel has not been collected, or it has been collected and is waiting on a consolidated freight leg with nothing to scan against. On a China-origin standard order this is unremarkable for the first week.
Long gap mid-transit. International air freight does not scan at every waypoint. A standard SHEIN parcel may post only a handful of events across its whole journey.
Failed delivery with no redelivery. Take it to the delivering carrier with the tracking number. SHEIN cannot reschedule a USPS or Yodel delivery.
Marked delivered but nothing arrived. Check the delivery location in the carrier's own tracking detail first, then neighbours and building reception. If it has really gone, open a case with the carrier and a ticket with SHEIN in parallel rather than waiting on either.
SHEIN Returns & Customer Service
The Return Window Is 30 Days From Delivery, Not From Ordering
The return window is 30 days counted from the delivery date, not the order date. Transit time does not eat into it, so a parcel that took eleven days to arrive still gives you the full thirty. The exact deadline is shown next to each item in the app, which is more reliable than counting yourself.
| Situation | The rule |
|---|---|
| SituationStandard return window, US | The rule30 days from the delivery date |
| SituationFirst return from an order | The ruleFree |
| SituationFurther returns from that same order | The ruleA flat fee deducted from the refund |
| SituationDamaged or defective on arrival | The ruleRaise it the same day, with photographs |
| SituationFaulty electronics | The ruleLonger window, counted from the order date |
| SituationSome Middle East markets | The ruleShorter window, around 15 days |
Bundle your returns. Because only the first return per order is free, sending items back one at a time from the same order costs you each time. Decide on everything before you start the first return.
Final sale categories are genuinely final. Underwear, swimwear, jewellery, opened beauty products, customised items and clearance lines are excluded. The product page states it before you buy.
Keep the tags and the packaging until you are certain. Items have to come back unworn, unwashed and tagged, and shoes and electronics carry stricter packaging rules.
Original shipping charges are not refunded, only the item value. Refunds go to the original payment method or to SHEIN Wallet, and Wallet is the faster route if you intend to spend it there anyway.
The Forever 21 drop-off is gone. SHEIN's Happy Returns partnership let US shoppers hand items over in store without a box or label. That option no longer exists, so returns are mail-in again.
Reaching SHEIN
SHEIN handles support through its app and website rather than a phone line. Live chat and the ticket system inside your account are the working routes, and raising a ticket against the specific order attaches the order history for you, which a phone call could not.
Have both numbers ready: the order reference for anything about the purchase, and the carrier tracking number for anything about the parcel. Support cannot look up a delivery without the latter.
Know which party owns the problem. A parcel in transit, a failed delivery or a delivery dispute belongs to the carrier. A missing item, a refund, a defect or a return belongs to SHEIN. Raising each with the wrong one is the main reason these cases drag.
